Dinner at Taiping New Club
Our rainy town, Taiping has several clubs which we can join. Hubby and I was officially being Taiping New Club members since last year. It was my FIL gratefulness to transfer the membership to us. Furthermore, we still need to pay a membership fee of RM60 every month. Free gym,swimming pool, tennis court, golf and we are always invited to any events they organized. I should plan to go there with my son after my second birth. Despite of the free workout and the courts utilization, we were also entitled for complementary refreshments up to RM360 maximum annually. If you do not wish to have meals over there, we can also replace or redeem soft drinks, alcohol or cigarettes (for those smoking people) with the same values. That RM360 values of refreshment, will be expired every year in 31st May. So, hubby decided to have a dinner at New Club and he invited his INDEX partner and their staffs for a meal. Let's me show you what we have it there;
TouFu Claypot *Thumbs Up*
Quite a big portion we ordered that night. Those INDEX staffs really can finished it. We were glad they enjoy the food that night. Besides the above dishes we ordered, Taiping New Club is always famous for its black pepper deer meat, Mix brinjals, ladies finger and long beans sambal (usually we called them "Sam Tai Ting Wong") and also their signature curry fish fillet. This restaurant not only serves local and Chinese food but Western food as well. I've heard their fish and chips is very nice. Will try that one day. We don't have to spend the RM360 at one time. We can either just come and visit the restaurant again for another meal or anytime we want.

I went there few times, under my aunty's name since she's the member. The food are nice, and all your food looks very tempting!

ReplyDeleteall food look so yummylicious. you guys are so lucky. RM360 of complimentary refreshment some more. Worth joining leh but of course provided that you do use their facilities.

The food there looks really scrumptious. Wait till you deliver the second baby, you go and utilize their facilities more. Way to go.
ReplyDeleteAh... nice food, especially marmite chicken. Yummy!
ReplyDeletei think the RM360 complimentary refreshments is a good bonus. First time i'm hearing cigarettes are also entitled for redemption. .The Royal Perak golf club doesnt have this kind of complimentary bonus but they give dining vouchers that comes with expiry dates.
