Purnama Beach Resort

This will be another post related to my Treasure Hunt event this year to Pulau Pangkor. If you've missed out the posts, you can always click the link;  HERE and HERE...

 

 

A few months back before the event, part of our committee member make two trips to Pulau Pangkor to ensure all the things are set and arranged accordingly. Yeap, they have chosen this Purnama Beach Resort to cover our accommodation at Pulau Pangkor. We try to choose the best budget for us and foremost the resort is capable to accommodate all of them under one roof.

They also provide outdoor activity. This will be bear by their own cost which is not included in our Treasure Hunt event.

I reached early to arrange the room's key and make sure all are at tip top conditions. Everything is set and of course we also asked the resort to prepare welcome drinks for our members will be arriving later.

Let me show you the resort, kinda like home stay style. There are many types of rooms to choose from.

The best is, the swimming pool is just outside the rooms. Since we fully reserved the entire rooms here, so no one is sharing the pool with us - make it like our private swimming pool - not bad right?

Here is inside the room condition. Although it is not like a hotel room, but it is acceptable. We didn't hear any complains from the members - well it is just one night stay! Water heater, air condition, TV with Astro and basic needs are provided completely.

I stayed upstairs, so here is the pool view from the our rooms.

Around 4pm, all our participants reach and they have their own keys. Most of them have their free leisure time to freshen up, rest and explore the Island before the buffet dinner at 8pm. On the other side, all the Sport Club committees - were busy calculating the marks from the Treasure Hunt Event.

Counter check all the answers given by the participants and the winners will be announced during the dinner.

These are the goods and items brought back from the participants. We have to make sure they got the right items.

Besides that,we also make sure the resort had prepared and set all the tables for the buffet that night.

 Buffet dinner started at 8pm, all the participants can't wait to know who is the winners.

We were all entertained by the live band performance arranged by the resort.

 We have special table set and food arrangement for our VIPs and committees. The food was nice that night, no one complains about that too. Thank God!

Last but not least, the best and excitement part of the night is the prize giving session. Answers are reveals to the floor and the top 10th placing is announced.

The 1st - 3rd place not only received medals and trophies but also cash money prize. Erm, don't forget lour 43 lucky draw prize too. Our company sponsored and giveaway 3 sets of tyres as the grand prizes. Besides that, we have 32" TV, washing machine, electrical items and promotional items sponsored by our Marketing Dept.

The next day, everyone has their own free and easy time here as the check in time is 12pm. AFter breakfast many of having fun at the pool here.

 The resort management has arranged some goodies bag for us (each of the committee members). Thank you!!!

 Some has gone home and some of them has gone to the Island hoping and other activities around the island.

 We have compared, back to Lumut is far more cheaper though!!!
