#029 - Kuala Sepetang Curry Mee & Charcoal Factory

I would like to share some photos taken last Sunday. We took the kids for a short trip to Kuala Sepetang and visited the Charcoal factory.
Kuala Sepetang formally known as Port Weld.
Took a very nice view from the bridge
So do you miss me? or them? Hehehe...
*I posted this photo at my Instag while on my way to charcoal factory. Then Yee Ling mentioned that she was there for the evening river cruise. Hope she enjoys her holiday too.*
Nice weather to take photos with this scorching sun.
If you have chance to visit Kuala Sepetang the fishing village, you must try Kuala Sepetang Curry Mee. Only available after 2.30pm - 3pm.
From noon onwards, Laksa is available. Besides these, we ordered others such as red bean ice blended, ice kacang and prawn fritters (which sold from other stall).
After our late lunch, we headed to charcoal factory. There are a few factory surrounding that area.
We managed to visit 2 factories here. The one earlier, the kids could not see how the mangrove wood is stag up inside the handmade concrete look like a beehive. My son said is the "Hot Igloo"...LoL.
This is how they sealed the door and starts burning the mangrove woods until it becomes charcoal.
My girl is in good mood and request me to take her photos.
 Another one here
We take a look outside the factory. The workers are arranging the mangrove woods along the river bank. Guess this is the low cost activity of extending the river side.
My son is very happy to be here. He always wanted to explore such places.
Hubby took a few shots from here...
and here.
