#023: Evening Swan Boat Riding
Last Sunday evening (prolong after our movies), we all went for a swan boat riding at Taiping Lake Garden.
Wokie, weather is extremely humid and hot. But hubby said let's go for a while should not be a problem since it is towards the evening around 6pm. Hubby went to get the ticket (#126 - Imagine how many people is waiting for the ride too). It costs us RM21 for a 30mins swan boat riding.
We wait for 30mins and when it was almost our turn, we were asked to put on our life jackets. Who else is the most happiest person?

Here is our beautiful Taiping Lake Garden
The kids really enjoyed their first boat ride. Hebe was telling her daddy that she is able to touch the water. My son is looking for fishes but he found a small monitor lizard swim across.

Ended out ride with sweet and cold ice creams before headed for dinner.
This Taiping Lake is the most beautiful lake I have seen in our country. So much sweet childhood memories for me. No swan boats last time.

Weather is getting warmer here too. Stay indoor, hydrated and take care. All my kids are recovering from their sickness.

ReplyDeleteSo relaxing. Not a good time these few days, I guess...so very hot over at your side. Ok here, rained yesterday. Had to send my girl back to her jungle school, the holidays are over.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and peacefil trip, even the name sounds nice already, Taiping Lake Garden..Here, very hot, don't feel like going out, especially with a newborn around.. Just stayed home, huhuhuhu..
ReplyDeleteyeah, the weather is so hot these days, i hope it is cooling in Taiping Lake Garden.. looks like this boat riding is very popular, i can see many people waiting there.. RM21 for 30 minutes, i think this is a good spend for a family of four like you for a nice bonding.. see Calvin and Hebe, they were so happy on the boat and of course the ice-cream afterwards, hehe~~

ReplyDeleteThis was indeed a great family outing. We tried the swan ride twice already. It was indeed a very hot and humid weather, but there were still so many brave people. YOu guys sure had a good sweat out that day.
ReplyDeleteTaiping lake is very beautiful. Been there many years ago but I just can't stand the hot weather. Prefer to just go at night but cannot see much things already.

ReplyDeleteIt's always good for the family to go out and do stuff like this. I remember my dad bringing us when I was little too and it was some of the best memories of my childhood. I love the swan boats too, not sure where in KL we can get them but I've been to this lake too. It's been a long time since I was last here though. Glad to see you're having fun.
