"七月七"
Yesterday we were invited over to Winnie (our ex-colleague) house to pray "Chat Cheh - 七姐". Also known as seven sisters worship-七娘会. Is one of the oldest traditional festival, celebrations in the scale and character has always been admired by the people. Another version for the "Qi Qiao Festival - 乞巧节" expressed the young men and women (especially women) to pursue a better future.

when i was a kid, i used to celebrate this festival. i remember someone telling me that on this day, we cannot see any birds in the sky because they will be busy forming a bridge in the sky for the "chat cheh" (the youngest one) to meet her "human" husband :)
