MACE - Sound Performance Challenge
The first week, I was suffered from busy disease again and thanked God, I've recovered within 5 days. That was quick. Before this, I have to take care another segment product accounts, it probably takes me another 5-6 days to complete everything before the closing dateline. My responsibility doubled but time still remain 24 hours for me. I'm glad to know everything is back to normal again. So I have ample of time to spare with my family and of course steal some time for more baking and cooking schedules after this.
Back to the post for today, last week my hubby's partner Jay participated in MACE (Mobile Audio Challenge Entertainment) - Sound Performance challenge held at Tesco located in Alma, Bukit Mertajam. Me and my kids tag along too.
INDEX will turned 4 this year. Those first timers, you can explore more about INDEX in Facebook. Index is specialized in car audio and auto accessories.
There were many participants from all Northern region's car and audio dealers. It was not as grand as DLS - Sound challenge held in KL last time.
Such a hot day, but people willing to come and witness the performance.
Alpine was the main sponsor on that competition.
Sweet partners!
Jay and his team get ready for the sound performance test.
My kids played with Khloe (Jay's daughter). Three of them hanging around together throughout the day.
Usually the judges will conduct based on the highest sound test. In order to get on top on each categories sound performance, Jay and his team need to install the most suitable sound system in his little Kancil.
Jay need to play his car stereo system with allotment of time during the challenge. Then a frequency meter will read the highest score quality. Beside this, judges must also conduct a safety inspection on each car audio system like wise their power cabling, connections, amplifier and fuses.
Congrats Jay and his team mates. They made it to the 1st runner up place. Well done guys. Keep it up the good work!

What an interesting contest! I never heard of this car stereo thing that need to blast to win the judges' attention! Cool!
ReplyDeleteMACE - Sound Performance Challenge! Next time I must open my eyes wider to watch out in KL. Anay will surely kay poh and look see.. Even car accidents and victims lay on the road with intestines outside, Anay will still kay poh.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Jay and his team!!
ReplyDeleteI should join this someday and break my ear drums! LOL
That Jay looks like Alan Tam, Hongkong celebrity. Congrats to him and all, all the best.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Angeline...

ReplyDeleteCalvin sure love this event I guess? Boys ma, sure love cars, hehe :P
It's sure interesting! But my husband would love it very much. He likes vehicles but not me. But I usually tag along if he's keen.
ReplyDeleteawww, no wonder i see you commenting mostly during late night over the past week.. anyway, glad that you've "suffered through the busy disease" and back to the normal routine again.. :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha... what a serious disease. Hey good to comment at night compare the day.... much more relax.
Deleteawww, interesting to know there's actually this kind of sound performance contest huh.. now this is an eye-opener for most of the bloggers here i guess..
ReplyDeleteand that really seems to be very professional kind of activity huh?? besides sound test, the contestants were also judged on power cabling, connections, amplifier and fuses.. all very technical!!!
ReplyDeleteIf sound is good, all the technical stuffs must be organize too right?
Deletecongratulations to Jay and team for winning as the 1st runner up in the prestigious sound performance challenge contest!! sure that would reward their days of effort for all the installation and testing.. :)
ReplyDeleteActually he already obtained trophies from other dealership brand. Every performance and achievement will definitely bring him to the highest level.
Deletenow i kind of thought about if the sound system would actually be more expensive than the little Kancil itself?? not surprising because sounds system can be very very expensive..
ReplyDeleteYes some can be very expensive. Hey, expensive one doesn't meant the performance is good. A good sound system derives from many factors - design, the thickness of plywood used to become the casing, the car booth size and many more.
DeleteHmm right now, Index financially only can invest a little Kancil. Probably another 2-3 years time will get a second hand Myvi. That was my car...LoL. So i got reason to get a new car. *_^
Oh sound contest? My first time. Congratz to Jay & team
