N.T CHEANG KEE RESTAURANT
Rainy evening yesterday while on our way to N.T~Nibong Tebal. It takes approximately about 45 minutes from Taiping to reach our dinner place. Will meet up "sok sok" ,"sam sam" & Bernice from Penang Island as well.
N.T Cheang Kee Restaurant is quite a well known place to dine. Particularly people will come for their seafood porridge and crab porridge. Yesterday, we went to their new restaurant. (Yes, they have moved for sometimes).
We missed their simply delicious home-cooking food. We have Deep Fried Toufu with Leek. Stir Fry Fresh Prawn, Salted Vege & Toufu Soup, Steam pomfret fish, Sambal Belacan Kang Kung, Kong Pou Kappa claims with Tao Cheow and also "Kau Choy Far" with Roasted Pork. Well, a packet of prawn cracker while waiting the food to be served.

Hello Angeline, Nibong Tebal.....I used to stop there for coffee or sometimes lunch on my business travels back in the '70s.

ReplyDeleteYa i heard about this restaurant in NT but as for me i would not go far for food one lah, that's why my lovely wife always says, " dont ask eugene to go here and there for good food, he only eats around here,"kkekekekekk
